2013 Conference of the Society for Caribbean Studies

poster-2013The 2013 conference of the Society will be held at the University of Warwick from 3-5 July. This multi-disciplinary conference brings together scholars from all over the world to present the latest research on the Caribbean and its diasporas from a range of disciplines and across all the linguistic areas of the region.

This year, the opening address of the conference will be given by Professor Neil Lazarus of Warwick University. A renowned scholar of postcolonial studies and world literature, Professor Lazarus will reflect on the Caribbean from the perspective of new thinking on uneven development and the theorisation of world literature.
