We invite papers from all disciplines of Caribbean Studies across the arts, humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences. The Society is eager to receive proposals that centre the non-Anglophone Caribbean.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While we do not have a specific theme for 2024\u2019s conference, we welcome papers exploring<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">digital humanities<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Caribbean ecologies<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">regional labour movements<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">abolition<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">monuments and commemoration<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Proposals may address any theme or topic focused on the Greater Caribbean and should be submitted, along with a short bio of no more than 150 words, by 12 January 2024, via <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/1K_FbxGBIOb8hc08jGfXUfihNQzrhSTlqPlPx__9UxxU\/edit\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">this form<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We also welcome proposals for complete panels, which should consist of a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 4 presenters. Please note: a separate abstract and bio should be submitted for each paper. Each conference presentation should not exceed 20 minutes.
