“It is with regret that we are having to cancel the Society for Caribbean Studies (SCS) Postgraduate Conference, which was due to take place at the end of April (see details below). In conformity with current UK national guidelines around suppressing the spread of COVID-19, Leicester University is cancelling public gatherings in March and April. To ensure that no harm comes to anyone in relation to our event, we have also decided to conform with UK guidelines. We fully expect to hold the postgraduate conference next year, all being well: it has become a well-established annual event, and we hope to see you there.
