British Library Doctoral Open Days

The British Library offer an annual programme of Doctoral Open Days to current and prospective research students and other researchers. These are designed for those new to their collections and offer introduction to the practicalities of using the Library and help in navigating its physical and online collections. The series begins with a webinar to introduce attendees to the British Library, show them how to access collections and share details of other researcher development opportunities, including the PhD Placement Scheme and fellowship opportunities.

Indo-Caribbean Windrush Oral History Project

The Indo-Caribbean Windrush Oral History Project aims to document and preserve the life stories of Indo-Caribbeans who migrated during and in the aftermath of the Windrush era (1948-1971), as well as their descendants. Opportunities with Caribbean Oxford Initiative (CaribOx)

The Caribbean Oxford Initiative (CaribOx) has some fantastic upcoming opportunities open to researchers from Caribbean Institutions that will enable research visits to the University of Oxford in 2026.  There are  two Visiting Fellowships and two Travel Grants available. Applications are open to researchers across all academic disciplines.
