Thanks to all those who attended SCS’s first online conference! Amílcar Peter Sanatan is a PhD. candidate in Cultural Studies at The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus. His research examines the role of urban development and slum clearance policy in the postcolonial nation state.
